Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 July 2026
By using Alice you agree to these terms. Please read the emergency notice first — it is the most important part.
Alice is a personal-safety companion app. On a trigger it calls you, runs a supportive call, can share your live location with contacts you nominate, and can escalate to those contacts if you signal distress or miss a check-in.
Alice does not summon police, ambulance, or fire services and is not a substitute for emergency services or a monitored medical-alert system. In an emergency, call your local emergency number (see Emergency information). Alice depends on your device, connectivity, and third-party carriers, so it may be unavailable; do not rely on it as your only means of getting help.
You must provide a phone number you own and control, and keep your contact details accurate. You are responsible for the trusted contacts you add — only add people who have agreed to be contacted, and comply with the recording and privacy laws that apply to you.
The safety core is free. Alice+ is an optional subscription sold through the Apple App Store; billing, renewal, and cancellation are handled by Apple under your App Store account.
Alice is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, Alice. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here, and continued use means you accept them.
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
