Your safety data stays yours.

Alice is a personal-safety companion. This policy explains what we collect, why, and who it is shared with. We collect the minimum needed to keep you safe and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Your phone number — verified so we can ring you back. A trigger may only ever call your own verified number.
• Your location — captured only during an active safety session, to share with the contacts you choose. We do not track you in the background or between sessions.
• Your trusted contacts — the names and numbers you add, so we can notify them if you signal distress or miss a check-in.
• Your call transcript — the words spoken on the companion call, transcribed in real time so the agent can respond and so you can review the session afterwards. We do not record or store the call audio.
• Account basics — your email, for passwordless sign-in.

Call transcription & recording

Alice does not record or store your call audio, and there is no recording toggle in the app. To run the companion agent, the call is transcribed in real time — the audio is processed to generate text and is not kept — and the transcript is saved to your session history so you can review it. If we ever add optional call recording, we will add a clear in-app consent control and update this policy first.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the processors needed to run the service:

• Twilio — to place the call and send SMS.
• Amazon Web Services — encrypted storage of your session data (transcripts and location points).
• Our AI voice provider — to transcribe and voice the companion call in real time (audio is processed for transcription, not stored).
• Your trusted contacts — your live location and check-in status, via time-limited links, and only during a session you started.

We never sell your data and never share your location with anyone other than the contacts you choose.

How long we keep it

Session history, transcripts, and location points are retained for a limited window (7 days on the free plan; longer on Alice+), then removed.

Your choices

You can review and delete your sessions, remove contacts, and request deletion of your account and data by emailing support@doalier.com.

Children

Alice is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
